Are You Sanctified By The Truth?

BIBLE VERSE: John 17:13-19

King James Version (KJV)

“And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. 18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.”

1st Prayer:As Jesus prepared for his crucifixion and departure, he prayed for his own, that they may be sanctified by God’s truth, which is God’s Words. Remind the Father of His own words concerning his own, and sanctify these people, sanctify us, in the incense and spirit of His words…even as we look to the Cross. May His words on the cross justify and sanctify us, and not condemn us in the Name of Jesus.

2nd Prayer: In verse 15 of this verse, the LORD says unto the LORD, my prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. Indemnify his children in the blood he has shed on the Cross in Calvary; in every way the evil one has determined to contest our peace on earth and our crown of salvation in heaven, may the LORD Jesus, cloaked in the zeal of his passion, destroy them all in His Name.

3rd Prayer: As thou has sent me into the world even so have I sent them into the world. Jesus came into the world equipped for the work and mission he was sent, and the Spirit of the Father kept him through to the end; likewise as we have been sent into the world to become for Christ in the Name of Jesus, may His grace so empower us and sustain us, that we, too, may accomplish perfectly the purpose for which we have been sent.
